Blue Bloods Actor Treat Williams Involved in Fatal Motorcycle Accident

Treat Williams, known for his roles in Blue Bloods, Hair, and Everwood, was killed Monday following a vehicular accident in Vermont. The actor, whose legendary career spans more than four decades, was fatally wounded when a Honda SUV struck the motorcycle he was driving.

According to the Vermont State Police, the collision occurred when the SUV attempted to make a left-hand turn into a parking lot, turning into oncoming traffic and striking Williams’ motorcycle.

The agency reports that Williams could not avoid the oncoming SUV and was thrown from the motorcycle upon impact, suffering critical injuries. He was airlifted to Albany Medical Center in New York, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation is still in its early stages.
